Harold Forster, CPCU, ARM
Harold Foster has been offering risk management and insurance consulting services to Insurance Audit & Inspection Company clients throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia for the past 30 years.
Accomplishments
Harold has acquired immense knowledge in commercial underwriting, rate development, risk analysis, and claim management after working in early insurance companies. It is important to maintain outside interaction with reinsurance underwriters, both treaty and facultative, including agents for these projects. Harold created his first "easy read" format automobile program. He had to devise a statewide, territorial rating plan, including a statewide, territorial rating plan. In order to put this project together, Harold had to work with many authoritative figures such as the committee of the insurer’s board of directors, state insurance regulators, reinsurance representatives, and company personnel representing the marketing, claims and legal divisions to form a liaison. This experience helped Hal and his team to open a new regional office in Columbus, Ohio.
Responsibilities and Experience
In spite of the installment of a new, company-wide computer system, Hal still managed to gain experience by managing personnel and facilities, training of personnel and agency force, while attaining both growth and profit targets.
In his career of nearly 40 years, Harold has obtained immense experience by providing consultation services to insurance companies and helping with independent risk management.
Harold's background has benefited the design, development, and improvement of client insurance and self-insurance programs.
His analytical skills and acumen acquired are indispensable, in the field of non-traditional insurance financing mechanisms being employed by clients in healthcare, government, and throughout private industry.
